My circumstances:
my husband and i have 4 children and circumstances meant that our income and outgoings were unequal and caused debt to build up with seemingly no way out. we live in our own property and have always relied on us providing everything and not claiming anything from the state.
My interaction with the company:
we realised we needed help and contacted clear debt after searching the internet and started the process of our iva
Why I gave the ratings I did:
i rated the company based on my experience dealing with them over the phone and by post. their knowledge in this area is excellent with no judgement being passed
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
i am pleased to say that whenever we have phoned, if they are not available to talk then and say they will ring you back they always do unlike nearly every company i ever deal with!!
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
in an ideal world it would be nice to put a face to the people you deal with but i understand this is not practical 
Other points
we have been in our iva for 1 year now and just got a letter to say well done. it has progressed as it should and we have been able to increase our payments as i have returned to work full time since september this year. i think we are paying back approx 80% of our debt and we havent lost our home which really worried us.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
