My circumstances:
Both myself and my partner work full time and had debts of around £64,000. The most of which was an unsecured loan to Northern Rock.
My interaction with the company:
I rang Thomas Charles and was referred to Philip Gill and Co. They recommended an IVA. We worked out a budget and saw how much desposable income we had. After Melanie spoke to NR they advised that in order for them to accept they wanted the majority of the loan paid back, so our payments into the IVA had to be quite high.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I rated them so highly as they did a great job and worked really hard on our case, especially as NR was a creditor.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Excellent communication and the ability to contact Melanie almost all hours of the day!
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
The speed of the process seemed a little slow (8 months from first call to Thomas Charles to IVA accepted) however I understand that a lot of the time was spent trying to talk NR into IVA! 
Other points
First IVA payment due 01.11.07 so just starting off really. We have always been good with money, but due to an injury and redunancy we found ourselves deeper and deeper in debt. We will be paying back 51p in the £1.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
