My circumstances:
Married couple with an 11 year old child living in the Midlands. 100k debt with approx 30k equity in the house.
My interaction with the company:
First contact was reassuring, handled very sympathetically and all information regarding the company and very helpful advise on how to proceed was despatched efficiently.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
An excellent and personal service - always available and every single person I spoke to was aware of our case just by giving my name.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
We originally decided to sell our property in order to do full and final settlements to our creditors. Then Melanie advised there was another way as we were upset at having to leave the family home which was remortgaging to release more income to enter into an IVA. Melanie Giles (IP) has the ability to come up with a solution when you believe all is lost. The day before our adjourned Creditors meeting we thought bankruptcy was our only option but Melanie came up with a solution which was accepted. The IVA Bureau dont give up without a fight!
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
A very very very minor thing - response to emails can be a little slow.  
Other points
We have just entered into our IVA. Our combined debts were split approx 40% and 60%. Dividend 25p and 40p in the pound.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
