My circumstances:
Retired with £60+k debt, took up further employment to try and pay off debts. Unable to cope.
My interaction with the company:
Internet search resulted in phone call to Synergi (later ClearDebt) and they set the ball rolling. Full instructions given to assist completing the forms, no problems and IVA entered.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
9 out of 10 because each decision they made was communicated to me with reasons and more importantly in language I could understand. Through each year they were supportive and cooperative.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Great communications, using language the lay person can understand.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
The company replied to each of my messages; just one or two could have been a little quicker being sent. Near the end of the IVA I felt a little in limbo, "Is it finished? Are there problems? I was kept waiting a few days too long.  
Other points
Now, hopefully, after five years of austerity I can start to save a little as I have learned not to spend beyond my means. If all goes well I can retire properly in a couple of years time.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
