My circumstances:
I am a Police Officer living in East Anglia. After a disastorous and short marriage, moving out of the home left me heavily in debt and with negative equity on my previous home. Unable to file for bankrupcy, due to my job as a Police Officer, other options were discussed and the route of IVA was proposed.
My interaction with the company:
I was initially met in person, strangely enough, by a retired Police Officer, who immediately put me at ease about the fears I had about the effects of a debt would have on my position as a Police officer.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I have been happy with ClearDebt, as they have always been approachable and happy to discuss my repayments and after a hiccup with my repayments, they were happy to openly discuss the best way around it. Im now only 9 months away from completing my 5 year IVA
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
When, through a change of banks a couple of payments were missed, they were happy to discuss the solution of how to bring my repayments back in line, that made it affordable for me to bring my repayments back in line
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
The speed in which they return the annual review paperwork and decision.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
