| My circumstances: |
| Over the past couple of years I had accumulated a moderate/high level of debt through the use of various credit facilities that I had available to me during this time. This included a consolidation loan, three Credit cards with large credit amounts available. When I moved house I also obtained more credit to help in the furnishing of my new house. Then the trouble started, firstly my income was reduced as my company stopped all overtime and bonus payments, then shift payments were reduced dramatically, which left me with a massive shortfall every month. My wife and I then separated heaping more pressure on my finances with me struggling to pay everyday household bills and I found myself relying on my already stretched credit cards to pay for food and fuel just so I could live a relatively normal life. In total my debts amounted to £25,000 at the point in which I sought advice. |

| I was very impressed with the company, Very professional, and provided excellent advice and guidance throughout the whole process of my IVA proposal which has been approved today (11-07-2012). Charlie Nash was the person I dealt with personally at the company, who was very understanding and polite about my situation. He was excellent in responding to questions I had whether it be via email or via a telephone call. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| I rated them 10 out of 10 because the whole service they have provided me from start to the approval at the creditors meeting has been excellent. All the advice they have given has been explained clearly so that I understand whats happening at each stage of my IVA proposal, and I couldnt have asked for a better service in what was a very stressful situation for myself. |

| The speed in which my IVA has been proposed and now set up.Mine was a fairly straightforward case (so i was told) but I still didnt expect it to happen this fast. Excellent company cannot fault them. |

| My IVA has been accepted by all my Creditors at the Creditors meeting this morning (11-07-2012) and I am now paying £160 a month back for 36 months and then for the reminder of my IVA I will pay back £280, as I will have paid off my student loan after the 36 month of my IVA. Ive learnt that whilst credit may be the easy option to turn to if you really need something, it soon all adds up and before you know it your in debt way above your head. In the future if I cant afford it or I want something I will save for it. Being in debt has really open my eyes, and I had some very dark thoughts before I sought advice. Dontt be scared, seek advice, people will not judge you for whatever reason you are in debt, these companies will help you, whether its just a simple phone call to say hello and see if your Ok, to calling creditors and dealing with them for you. Dont put it off seek advice. Thank you everyone at McCambridge Duffy |
