My circumstances:
I was a new single parent going from a dual-income household, to a single-income household.Debts were mounting and getting out of control.
My interaction with the company:
Debt Lifeboat was enormously helpful and supportive and gave me expert guidance every step of the way.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
My rating reflects their prompt attention to correspondence and fair and accurate advice.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Denis May, Jane Eccleston - both offered support, information, and assistance whenever I was in touch. Mary Walshs support was unending and without her encouragement when things were very tough, I might not have been able to complete the IVA and be free of debt. It is mainly due to her excellent customer service that I am now debt-free.

Other points
My total debt was in approx 27000, the dividend was 20.35 pence in the pound, and now that I am debit free, I have learnt good money management and to stay in control of my income and outgoings.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
