My circumstances:
I am full time customer service worker in London. I live on my own and had just under £30K of debt.
My interaction with the company:
I was first picked up by a company called Valour Financial who were looking into a loan for me instead. When they said I would not be accepted, they suggested an IVA. It was a little confusing at first who would be involved in this as I was referred to Varden Nuttall. Once they were involved, everything went smoothly.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
Overall I found them very sympathetic to my situation, understood my concerns, were knowledgeable and able to answer all questions and concerns and what if scenarios. Once decided on IVA, also gave me peace of mind that there were other options if this didnt work out and that they would help me - that was a huge concern of mine, since I had spent money I didnt have on being referred to them in the first place and at this point had been instructed to stop any and all payments I was able to cover. There was a big leap of faith as far as I was concerned and they did not disappoint.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Always someone to speak with and felt that they knew you personally and actually remembered speaking with you before. Very personal service.

Other points
I will write off 50%. I had just under £30K of debt and over 5 years of monthly payments of £250.00, ill pay a total of £!5K back.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
