My circumstances:
I am a Sales Executive living in East Sussex, had 30K+ of debt with 15K of equity in property.
My interaction with the company:
I was introduced to Philip Gill & Co through Thomas Charles debt advice company.<br> <br> From the moment i met with Melanie Giles i realised that she was somebody that i could trust. Something that is hard to find when the companies that you owe £££ to are agressively harassing you!!!<br> <br> Melanie explained to me clearly what my options were, and how best to proceed with working towards a brighter future with regards to my debts. <br> <br> What really stood out for me was that Melanie understood my personal position fully; being a 28 year old and struggling to move forward in my life at such a crucial age. For the past few years my life has been nothing but miserable to say the least. Worrying about how i can improve my quality of life with so much debt hanging over my head! Throughout this journey i have lost Friends, Relationships, Employment, Self Confidence/Belief.<br> <br> Melanie fully understood this terrible burden, and immediately showed me that I COULD changes things for the better and get back on the path of enjoying my life.<br>

One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Understood how this much debt, accompanied by a low income, was crippiling my quality of life and self esteem.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
Honestly, i cannot think of anything. 
Other points
I have opted to make a final settlement within 12 months, which will see approx 50% of my debt written off.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
