My circumstances:
`I am a semi-skilled industrial operative in Lincoln. I bought a flat 5 years ago, confident that I had budgeted for every eventuality, but failed to allow for a recession and the decline and demise of both parents. I tried consolidating, and several increasingly desperate ways of generating extra income but, by August 2011, I had unsecured debts in excess of £40,000 and a property with over £25,000 of negative equity.
My interaction with the company:
I rang them, they listened to my situation and recommended IVA, they posted form, which I completed and returned. After some more phone conversations and paperwork, was referred to the Insolvency Practitioner and my case transferred to the conpany that they worked for. Further paperwork and telephone meetings ensued, following which my proposal was put to a creditors meeting and accepted. Everyone seemed friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I have given 10 out of 10 across the board because they got the job done, and because they were friendly voices at the other end at times when I was contemplating living in a cardboard box or throwing myself off a building.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Generally being friendly and professional, making me realise that all was not lost, and that there was a way out.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
I may have missed this during the initial consultation, but I didnt feel prepared for the amount of paperwork involved, or that being referred on to my IP would involve dealing with another company, which felt as if it was extending the time taken to put the proposal together. That said, I know from experience that almost anything legal takes at least twice as long as you expect, and I couldnt have done it on my own. 
Other points
I still have a job, transport, and a flat which I hope will some day be worth what I owe on it. My IVA has written off approximately £30,000, paying a dividend of just over 24p in the £.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
