| My circumstances: |
| I have over £28k debt with no equity. I had got divorced changed my job due to relocation and couldnt cope on a lower salary. I approached Kingsgate Insolvency and they explained the difference between debt management plans, bankruptcy and an IVA. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| The forms came in the post the next day and as they had arranged an interview date and time with me I had all the documents they required to hand. The advise was clear and I realised I had choices. I chose to take the IVA route after my discussion with them. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| I gave them nine out of ten as they acted very promptly I spoke to Mr Platt who answered some of my queries and I received my proposal after two weeks. |
| One thing they did - which really impressed me: |
| before the day of the meeting I was contacted informing me that one of my creditors used an accountancy firm that voted on their behalf.This company was rejecting IVAs regardless of circumstances.I was very worried that after all the work that had gone on my IVA would fail because of this firm.On the day of the meeting I was really stressed as I beleived that the IVA was fair and right for me considering all the charges that had been loaded on this account. They were able to get more votes in to over turn this creditor. |

| Iam employed but on about £300 per month leass after tax. My IVA was agreed at 48p in the pound. |

| Comment: This is exactly what Kingsgate done for me with the exception of the agreed dividend being 32p in the pound , also had 2 occasions when I have had to take either unpaid leave or on a temporary reduced work plan for health reasons and they have been really helpful by either postponing my payment for that month and arranging for me to be able to make up the payment over the next couple of months or my reducing my payment and then as before arrangin | ||
