| My circumstances: |
| I have over £20k in debt, due to mainly overspending and not managing my finances very well. At the time of taking out the loans I had no problems in affording the repayments... but after a year or so, it started to get on top of me. I felt like I was working everyday just to pay the banks, I had no money to spend on myself, to go out or to have a holiday, and I slipped into depression. |

| After speaking with them, I realised that life didnt have to be the way it was, at first I was considering bankruptcy, as I dont have any assets and it would be good to wipe the slate clean... but when the IVA was explained to me, I felt this was a more honest solution, it was affordable, left me with some money to enjoy myself and I was paying back what I had borrowed. |

| Great help, fast response. Friendly people and they understood my situation and helped me work through the paperwork easily and as to get the best outcome for me. |

| Hand delivered the paperwork so I got to meet one of the guys and speak with him about the IVA. |
| One thing they did - which I felt could be improved: |
| I dont think anything could actually be improved. The only worry I had when first contacting them was that I had to pay £300 to them to set things up. Of course I understand the reasons for this, but it did scare me a little, thinking.. "what if they take the money and then dont do anything... what would happen then" But now Im paying the IVA, and am over £400 a month better off, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and couldnt thank them enough for their help! |

| Im not sure of the exact amount... but Im paying £150 a month back over 5 years which is £9000. So I guess over half my debt has been written off! Ive learned not to take on credit! Save up first to buy the things you want!! Otherwise, what seems like a good idea at the time just lingers over your head for longer than the item you bought even lasts! |
