| My circumstances: |
| I am an office worker in London with 25K in debt, things got out of hand so I asked for financial advice after reading their ad in the back of a newspaper. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| They immediately offered me an IVA when I wanted a consolidation loan, but after being sweet talked into it I accepted - it went through at shocking speeed - I was happy with the original payment and I was very impressed at first - I cant believe that I actually introduced friends to their firm. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| These people convinced me into thinking it was going to be an affordable monthly payment, but at each expenditure review they demanded more and more money without taking my life changes into consideration - in three years they have more than doubled my monthly payment.<br> I didn't feel they were honest at all and will pressurise your for days to get you to have the review (at times I felt threatened with legal jargon) only for you to be told you are not allowed the same amount for food or clothes and even if your expenses go up they WILL demand more money and threaten you with bankruptcy. |

| I felt they were dishonest and overly concerned with extracting money with a less than professional approach, they are good at getting their costs out of people and once they have achieved that they will bleed you dry to get as much back as they can for the banks. |
| One thing they did - which I felt could be improved: |
| they have to be more transparant about how much their costs are - how often they will demand more money - how to the letter they demand their "guidelines" to be - and they should tell people at the offset that they will demand more and more money every year until you dont have enough money left for food. Because that is what they have done to me. They did not mention that it would be the same as bankruptcy being insolvent - they did not discuss the guidelines when I had my original consultation and they did not accept my arguments for enough money for food. If anything at all people need to know that their precious guidelines will be enforced once they have made their profit and that you will have to live on that amount of money. |

| I will never ever trust any person working as a debt counsellor, insolvency practitioner or anyone that works for a bank ever again. I feel this kind of usary is unethical - all the other reviews of this firm must have been done in the first two years before they start demanding more and more money otherwise they would not get the reviews that they have. I will never be able to buy myself a house, I cant get a mobile phone contract, I cant even get a sofa at DFS. This whole episode has been the worst experience of my life and I urge anyone that is reading this to reconsider entering into an IVA with Kingsgate. |

| Comment: after looking at the reviews i can only sympathise with the other clients that have had to endore the way in which kingsgate conduct there business we have had 5 years of this experience and we to like every one else feels that its another case of rip off britain we are no nearer to completing our account than we were all those years ago believe me i could be stronger this is 100% genuine i just feel r | ||
