| My circumstances: |
| I ran my own business and after a year of successful trading, things turned due to market & staffing issues. I ended up with £80k worth of debt, and had a property with £8k equity. |
| My interaction with the company: |
| I was put in touch with Philip Gill via Thomas Charles a debt management company. I met with Melanie, who was incredibly professional and understanding, she explained the full process and the pros and cons of an IVA against bankruptcy. After some small changes the IVA was accepted at the creditor meeting. |
| Why I gave the ratings I did: |
| They were understanding, showed empathy and explained fully what an IVA was, and what it entailed, what the effect having one would be i.e. how long lasts on credit file etc. etc. and helped me make a decision this was the best option for me. |

| Just their helpfulness, professionalism and understanding dealing with a sensitive issue. |

| I wrote off approx half of the original £80k debt. I should be debt free in 6 years time, although I hope to be able to pay it off before then. |
