My circumstances:
We are a married couple living in Bedfordshire. We had £75K of unsecured debt and negative equity in our home. Bills had become unmanageable and we developed into a situation whereby we were robbin peter to pay paul.
My interaction with the company:
I initially reviewed their website then left brioef details. Within an hour i recieved a telephone call from a very helpful debt expert. We discussed my position and a number of options. I was given time to review information and make a decision based on advice.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
Owning upto debt problems is difficult. We didnt know where to turn. Our bank and creditors only ever offered one way out - Bigger loans. This didnt help. Phillip Gill & Co were understanding and non-judgmental. They explained everything clearly and answered all our questions. In formulating my IVA proposal they treated my case personally building in some factors which included our childrens health and education needs.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
During the creditors meeting our proposal was approaved with a number of modifications. Some of these meant comitting to higher payments and not being able to meet the costs of some medical needs for our child. My representative - Garteh Bishop, negotieated and made fast-time proposals to my main creditor which resulted in a solution. This demonstrated the personal touch.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
I can not find any area where they could have improved. Fantastic. 
Other points
My unsecurred outgoings did total £1600 a month and with interest charges would have taken a lifetime to pay back. Our IVA is set at £684 over five years. After this we understand that we will be debt free. That is such a relief!

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
