My circumstances:
My wife and I had just got married and had debts from previous marriages.We had to start all over again buying furniture etc.We got into difficulties and ended up owing approx £35,000 between us.Instead of going bancrupt we thought the IVA route was better because at least you pay some of the owing debt off.
My interaction with the company:
My wife rang the IVA company and they arranged for us to meet a reprisentative at a local hote.The meeting was very relaxed and he reasured us that there was nothing to worry about and put us at ease.
Why I gave the ratings I did:
I have given good ratings because they were very helpful and got us out of a very scary and depressing situation.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
Put our minds at ease and they were always there to give us help and advice.
One thing they did - which I felt could be improved:
 
Other points
Our Iva has now been completed and is has been a tremendous learning experience.This is because it teaches you how to budget your money without the need to have credit.My wife and I are now much more careful with money are credit free and would never have any credit cards or store cards ever again.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
