My circumstances:
Im a nurse with debts of £20, this was very managable untill a year ago when a heart surgery went wrong. I spent 2 week on a ventilator in hosp, my husband was self employed & had to travel 130 miles a day to be with me. I was off work for 3mths my husband had to take time off to care for me & the children, this led to him losing work & money. The loans credit card then became a problem as insurance companies soon find excuses not to cover this illness or that. As the debts mounted we tried a debt managment comp at a cost of £300 initial fee, & as time went by more & more creditors were calling, some even calling 3-4 time a day 1 comp called 8 times in one day. By chance we came across Mccambridge duffy & we havent looked back since.

Why I gave the ratings I did:
I rated them 10/10 for everything, having spent an awful lot of money trying to clear my debts with a debt management comp ( who i am still waiting to reply to a phone call I made to them 4 wks ago) I found them to be friendly caring & understanding of my needs.
One thing they did - which really impressed me:
They contacted a very aggressive creditor who was rude & abusive man. Once contacted by Mccambridge duffy we never heard from them again.

    Good Points
    Very informative with lots of useful information. A lot of reviews on firms that really help understand their customer service and ability. The reviews appear to be genuine as they offer interesting insights. Didn't really use the the map but looks impressive!
    Bad Points
    The site is a bit cluttered and sometimes hard to navigate around.
    General Comments
    A useful site that is free to use and full of useful information about IVAs. If you are thinking of doing an IVA then this is a must use site.
