from the first telephone call the firm were helpful, informative and, most importantly, non-judgemental. They put as at our ease so that we never felt we had to hide or be so ashamed of our situation that we did nothing to improve it.

I contacted them, found them very helpful and sorted my debt issue promptly.

I really wanted an IVA if possible and was happy to speak to ClearDebt. They were excellent and kept me informed. They did discuss with me the possibility of interlocking IVAs for my husband and I but as we keep our finances separate we decided against it and they did not try and push us into it.

After initial phone call, the listened without judging, worked very quickly and professionally, and kept me informed every step of the way

I was referred by Thomas Charles; from the first meeting to currently they have been fantastic. Through all the process including my never ending phone calls, nothing was too much trouble. Jennifer Sparkes gets a special mention. Yes there have been teething problems but they have all been resolved. Life is starting to feel good again.

4 months later we have peace of mind, no more hassling from creditors and knowing that in 5 years time we will be debt free with a fresh start.

Currently I am now adjusted to the tight budget. You acually can live without a credit card if you budget correctly. I now just have one of the new Cash Plus (prepay) mastercards so you can only spend what you have already put on the card but more importantly you get the same safe guards as a normal credit cards. So in future I will be sticking to a prepay for those times one might be needed, but generally these days its not needed with the correct budget being folowed.
